This page explains what Stakali collects.
Stakali requests the permission "android.permission.INTERNET" in order to perform 4 different operations :
Stakali will work without internet, you will only lose the possibility to save your bookmarks online and to retrieve bookmarks's metadata.
Stakali requests the permission "android.permission.INTERNET" in order to perform 4 different operations :
- communicate with your server hosting Shaarli in order to save your bookmarks
- communicate with the site's bookmark in order to retrieve metadata : title, description, images, icons and eventually full article
- version prior to 1.2.0 : communicate with crashlytics.com, see "Crash-reports"
- version equal to or higher than 1.2.0 : communicate with toneiv.eu, see "Crash-reports"
- communicate with stakali.toneiv.eu, see "Update-check"

Crash-reports
- version prior to 1.2.0 : Stakali uses the Crashlytics bug tracking system, so any errors encountered are reported for analysis. This application does not collect any personal data.
- version equal to or higher than 1.2.0 : Stakali uses the Acra (Application Crash Reports for Android) bug tracking system, so any errors encountered are reported for analysis. This application does not collect any personal data.
Update-check
Periodically Stakali will make a request in order to know if there is an update.
In the exception of the build number of the application, no other information is send.
